National Curriculum changes…consultation

February 11, 2013

Many things have been discussed this past week on the education front.  First, we got Michael Gove’s U-turn which might not really have been such a biggy after all!!!  He is going to keep GCSEs after all but not keep the name English Baccalaureate Certificate (EBC for short).    There were also proposed changes to the Primary School National Curriculum.   Many things are being said about these proposed changes and you can make your views heard as there is a consultation  of what is being proposed.

In the meantime, the TES wrote a piece about their own view of the proposed primary curriculum changes.   Interesting to look at and, as governors, be aware  of what might be coming your way.
